How should I use the care information?

Treat the pages as orientation and preparation, not individualized medical advice.

Look for source linksHealth, safety, and husbandry pages should link directly to veterinary, welfare, conservation, or other authoritative starting points.

Notice scope notesA page may summarize general patterns while explicitly leaving species, health, dose, and urgency decisions to qualified professionals.

Use emergency pages to escalateThe emergency hub helps identify that action is needed; it does not diagnose, prescribe treatment, or replace a receiving clinic's instructions.

Recheck changing factsProduct versions, legal restrictions, live feeds, and external resources can change. Follow the current primary source before acting.

What should I expect from interactive apps?

App capabilities vary by browser, device, permission, and the individual surface.

Permissions

Camera and microphone remain device-controlled

A human must choose whether to grant browser permissions. Editorial pages do not turn those permissions on.

Storage

Some tools are device-local

Pages should say when information is stored only in browser local storage and whether it is uploaded. Clearing browser data may remove local records.

Supervision

Bird-facing does not mean unattended

A caregiver should set the device, protect cables and hardware, monitor body language, and end a session when the bird disengages.

Separation

Human guides do not expose app internals

Companion and arcade pages open as separate protected experiences. The human site links to them without rewriting their runtime.

What if a page or link does not work?

Use the static support routes first; this site does not currently expose a public support form.
