Parrot matchmaker
Rank the profiles currently available in The Aviary’s species data using broad, qualitative fit signals. The result is a shortlist of questions to investigate—not an adoption recommendation and never a substitute for meeting adult birds.

What this tool does not know
The data does not measure your daily schedule, exact housing, child or pet safety, local law, veterinary availability, individual bird history, rescue needs, or whether two personalities will fit. Use the shortlist to meet adult birds, speak with reputable rescues, and continue through the lifestyle and budget tools.
Source and verification note
The ranking reads data/species.json at run time and uses broad experience, relative-noise, dust, and vocal-learning categories. It deliberately does not treat an unsourced decibel or annual-cost number as a species fact. The weights are editorial discussion aids, not a validated behavioral or adoption instrument. Species and health decisions should be checked against the Association of Avian Veterinarians’ owner resources, current law, qualified rescues, and the individual bird.
